IWSG: May 9th 2020

It's time for another Insecure Writer's support group post. If you would like to learn more about it, visit here.

It was skrewed up since I write my post early and schedule them, but the last one was changed at the last minute relating to the Coronavirus which messed up my routine. Since those already commented on the post, it would be a mismatch for me to change it, but I guess I could. I write my post in advance as I do all of my posts due to my health. I'm unable to write posts on the exact same day, which was why I have to write them in advance. So this time, I won't do the optional question.

Despite of my health worsening, I have been getting more work done than before. For the past few weeks though, I haven't been able to get anything done because of my health. Well, most of the month of April, but the end of the month, I was able to sit up and do a little bit and then rest. I am very disappointed though how my surgery and health keeps me from the one thing I love doing most, writing. Before, I was able to finish about three chapters in one sitting, but I am glad to take my time in order to have better quality material. Still, I know the quality has improved since years ago, and it would be great if I was able to get work done like years ago, chapters done in one session. I worked like, not sure, I never kept track of the time. My guess would be 6 hours? I normally skip sleep and work on my projects all night. Unfortunately I am unable to do so anymore ever since my surgery.

I was very happy on April 28th, I worked from 10:00 p.m. as usual. That was a good night for me. Well, not really. Recently, I've been noticing strange blackouts on one side of my head where it feels one side of my head shuts down. This affects my ability to think during writing, resulting in confusion. The only thing I can do is work hard pass the confusion.

I'm not sure what else to write and so I'll end it there.

    1. Thank you for your comment. Yeah, I suppose I have, but I'm steadily making progress on my work. I guess that's what matters.
